Happy Birthday Waylon!!!! DIY Treat Bags and cupcake toppers..

Today my sweet baby boy is 6 years old. At times he can be a pain and hard to handle but he has the kindest soul. He is a genuinely sweet and loving person. My grandfather passed away this year but he lives through all of us in some special way and I believe that Waylon has his sweet soul my hope and wish is that Waylon will become at least half the man my grandfather was, it will make the world just that much better..
This is Waylon in one of his many costumes. I printed them out on card stock and glued a craft stick to the back. If you look in "July" Archives I did Belva's cupcakes the same way.

I made These little treat bags using coloring book pages and card stock strips that I had from some of my scrapbooking supplies. I printed pictures of Waylon in spiderman costume and The printed off "Happy Birthday Waylon" on card stock cut it all out, made holes with hole punch and attached them to the bag.
This is what went in the treat bags.....

These pics are a little blurry but I was in a hurry to let the teacher get back to some "order" in the class room
This was Waylon's cake at home over the week end.

Two Paintings Finished One to GO...

These are the two finished paintings for my nephew's room. My sister in law is patiently waiting for me to finish the third one and send her the second one... as of right now she only has the alligator one... I'm hurrying, my ADD has kicked in again and I can only work on 50 things at a time hopefully I will finish at least one of them...Wish me luck..

I'm dreaming of a Pink Christmas.....

Halloween Door Decor Painting

In a mad rush ..... I started to do some Halloween decorating last week, then I realized that my "fall" door decor did not match my Halloween decor and company was already on the way....soooo I grabbed an old table top that was out in my garage drew some silly ghost with my pencil and then got my paints out. This was about a 30 min project. It was one of those things that I do often and think if it turns out, great I'll use it and if it doesn't great, I will put it in the pile of " art in waiting", my husband calls that pile "clutter that I need to throw away". I think it's pretty darn cute. My kids really like it, even my 12 year old that thinks everything is lame said it was "neat"., I'll take that. If I would have planned it out and taken more time I would have wrote Happy Halloween or something but it will stay just the way it is for now.

And here is a picture of my beautiful oldest daughter Savannah Jane, she is holding my new nephew Hudson Roy... You know us southern girls love to use those middle names when talking about our kinfolk.

I've been playing with beeswax!!!!

Oh what Fun, I have been taking a break from sculpting and playing with beeswax. Here is an  8 x 10 stretched canvas collage that I did for my new nephew Hudson.
Here is a painting on stretched canvas 16 x 24 that I painted for his room as well. Two more paintings to match  this one is in the works.
